Texas Rangers
The Texas Rangers were founded in 1961 as the Washington Senators. In 1972, the team moved to Arlington, Texas, where it was given its current name. Since 1994, their home games have been played at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas. The Rangers were unsuccessful for a long time. In 2010, the Rangers won the American League for the first time and thus made it to the World Series for the first time.
